Young Nigga x Gunna | CinematicShotz By TeeDRay’

Making yet another major appearance on I Am Hip Hop Magazine is the talents of TeeDRay, the young cinematographer/director out of Raeford, NC. The up and comer reunites with Gunna from Young Thug’s YSL imprint, for his February single “Young Nigga”. This CinematicShot was recorded on Old National Highway in Atlanta, and features the hood famous “Troup Store” in one of its scenes. For those of you who are unfamiliar, the “Troup Store” is a way for Thug and his homies to pay tribute to one of their fallen soldiers, in which that was the place he was killed. (It’s also one of the locations for Young Thug’s “King Troup” video.) Above all, the rooftop clips stand out to me the most. For me, those clips get across a message, and give the song a bigger impact. Job well done by TeeDRay, be on the lookout for more work.

“The rooftop idea came from me wanting to put him on a pedestal and I thought putting him on the roof and using dope aerial shots to see him over where he’s from gave that feel of where he’s from.. the struggle.. coming from nothing but he’s come a long way and he’s got his hood on his back-“
