“Braggin Rights”, The year is 1989 when Britton Bragg was introduced to the world in New Haven, CT.  Growing up in New Haven, Braggin Rights attended and graduated from the New Haven Public School system and spent most of his free time playing basketball.  Somewhere along the journey of manhood Braggin Rights started to fall in love with the idea and thought of rapping although he had always maintained a passion for music and dancing.  Once High School was finished he decided to enroll in the CIAA school Livingstone College in Salisbury, North Carolina. After a year he decided to come back home and support his family. Experiencing real life with the struggling economy and lack of jobs for young black men, Rights decided to turn to selling drugs and making music. In October of 2010, Rights dropped his first mixtape, “Don’t Let The Polo Fool You” but the enjoyment of releasing his own music came at a cost.

Just one month after the release of his mixtape Braggin Rights was arrested and sentenced too 3 years in jail. While incarcerated he began focusing on what was really important to him and developed his brand BLVD BOYS while writing songs.During his 2 and 1/2 year stint, Rights says he wrote about 500 songs. Since his release from prison in February of 2013, Braggin Rights has been a man on a mission with his day to day grind promoting himself and the Blvd Boys. He has built a solid street buzz due to his consistency of singles, mixtapes and special features by young thug, Omelly, Rich the kid etc. and continuously opening up shows for major recording artists. Britton Bragg knows that being an independent artist in this rap industry he has to keep up his work ethic, stay knowledgeable about perfecting his craft and most importantly build a strong team of professionals around him with the vision of reaching new heights to achieve his goals.  Bragg is currently working on new music now and is expected to drop a new mixtape some time next month so make sure you check back here!
